Where it all began.
Uploaded was formed back in 2006.
Johnny Nero was a keyboard player in an old style rock covers band and the band was missing a lead guitarist.
So Johnny advertised on the net for a new lead guitar player, and after a few auditions, The Taser appeared showing them his flare and outstanding musical knowledge.
The Taser brought along some amazing ideas but the band didn't want to change the set-list and The Tasers ideas seemed to have landed on deaf ears... Well all except Johnny's...
Johnny and Taser decided to try out a new adventure and left the band, their aim was to create a modern, in your face, indy - rock style band...
They advertised on the net for drummers, bassplayers, singers and guitarists but good bassplayers were very hard to find.
Johnny then took the step of laying the keyboards to rest, and with the help of The Taser, Johnny started the Bassplaying adventure...
Auditions started quite quickly, and first to join up, was Dell (or Mr No Name) as he likes to be called.
He entered the room, cracked some really rubbish jokes, moaned about the weather and then hit the drums in in a manor that none of the other audtionee's managed before him.
He was in, with no questions asked.
Then they were onto the second guitarist.
The original Guitar player who played with uploaded was a guy called Big Pete, he left a year later and was replaced by DiscoStu1000.
DiscoStu blew them away at his audition, he brought to the band some amazing guitar solo's and fantastic flashing balls... He has inspired the band to go from strength to strength and produces some amazing sounds!
The first singer who joined the band was Paul 'The Maulier' Manning.
He stayed around for just over a year before leaving to write his one songs.
Then Pasty Boy Jake was next up in the lead singing position, he lasted 2 years before moving back to Cornwall, leaving the space open for the newest member of Uploaded...
Dan' The Man 'Price...
This young guy had never been in a band before, he was nervous, a little shy, but had one of the most in tune voices Uploaded had ever heard...
Then there was a shock change in 2011 - The replacement of the good old faithful Drummer Dell.
Musical differences and commitment issues Dell was no longer part of uploaded, it had been a great 5 years with many poor jokes but, the change was made.
In came a very good friend, Mick 'The Stixs'.. He was with an originals band when Uploaded first started but 5 years down the line he was just on the verge of hanging up his sticks for good when he got the call.
He has been brought in a new style to playing, has energy better that a duracell bunny and better jokes..
Another change to Uploaded was the introduction of band management. In came MCCR management who brought the band an image, a new approach and they now take on the bookings and the behind the scenes paperwork. This has allowed uploaded to concentrate on performance and sharpen the already sharpness of the band Uploaded!
